The Ubiquiti UniFi includes two (2) UniFi 10G Bidirectional Single-Mode SFP+ (Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) modules designed for single-strand single-mode fiber (SMF) connections. These modules utilize different wavelengths for transmit (TX) and receive (RX) over a single fiber, allowing for cost-effective long-distance 10 Gbps links. They are typically sold in pairs where one module transmits at one wavelength and receives at another, and the partner module does the opposite.
